Whilst, as a society [certainly within the UK], we have become richer overall, have we actually 'dumbed down' overall?
It seems that as we have 'progressed' by our efforts and endeavours since Newton, we seem to have become less 'able' in terms of commonsense. We have a class of people who aspire to great heights in terms of personal power and influence, who yet lack any cognisance of the realities of ordinary, 'everyday life'.
We hear the common refrain of 'We are all in this together', yet the speakers are so far removed from reality as most people within this country know it to be totally untrue. The orators have very little, if any, experience of what my father used to say was, 'Have they ever done a hand's turn?'
It is not just the current incumbents, although they are probably the most incompetent, inept, inexperienced bunch we have had to suffer for at least 20 years, but probably most of the 'political class' in total. They have, to a man and a woman, almost all been to public school, enjoyed the fruits of their familial wealth, largely denigrated the 'plebs' or 'working classes' and yet see it as their, inalienable, 'God given' right to rule over all and sundry.
I have my own, well thought out views and philosophy with regard to both politics and the ways in which we should treat each other as human beings. These may become apparent as time goes by but, be assured that I shall direct my ire against all that deserve it regardless of their position, persuasion or perspective.
I will, unfortunately for any readers, digress form time to time, to deliver my thoughts upon the actions and achievements of my beloved 'Wolves'.
Welcome to one and all!!!
